If your browsing through this section of my website you are either newly engaged or just set the date for your big day.
As a portrait photographer it is my job to capture and tell the story of your day.
I have not an 80 years experience like another 40 years old photographers have. I have some experience, very good experience I guess.
I am doing it my way, for example I never used a strobe or flash on wedding. Maybe in the future I will, in some situation, If I have to, but not because everybody use flash, so I.
What means my way
There are many terms used to describe my style of natural wedding photography, so it can be a little confusing when researching into the different types and styles of wedding photographers for your day.
My discreet approach to a more authentic and honest style as a wedding photographer is often created using natural and available light only and is most commonly described as ‘reportage wedding photography’ or ‘documentary wedding photography’.
In essence, these terms describe the same fundamental, candid style of wedding photography – one that doesn’t dictate or direct but simply observes and discreetly captures genuine, un-staged and spontaneous moments as they unfold, naturally.
Other than the odd, pre-planned traditional family group photo, I typically spend 95% of the wedding day photographing real and meaningful moments between family and friends. Weddings are full of these beautiful and often fleeting moments – elements that depict the true essence of a wedding day.
A skilled natural-style wedding photographer is one that you shouldn’t notice too much and yet has the competence to spend the entire day in the thick of the action photographing uninhibited interactions between family and friends. Importantly, a photographer should have no impact on the atmosphere or flow of the day itself.
“Reportage is a technique of documentary or journalistic photography that tells a story entirely through observational pictures. This discreet and natural wedding photo style allows me to create a sincere, faithful and timeless record of your wedding day that you will treasure for many years to come.”
If you would like to talk with me about my style and approach, check my availability or simply chat through your photographic requirements, look at my pricing bellow.
I use the mirrorless Sony A7IV full frame camera with Sigma lenses.
I carry with me spare batteries, so my cameras are never out of power.
I use double data backup – I shoot on 2 cards at the same time (one classic and one backup); I transfer the pictures from the camera to two external hard drives at the same time. I use the latest software for post processing on a hi-end computer, so I can promise fast results.
My website is SSL protected, hosted on highly secure server and I keep the website components up to date, so my password protected client pictures proofing section is absolutely safe.

Are you planning wedding in Sneem?
Taking pictures of our landscapes is my leisure hobby. We can talk about taking some of the wedding shots outside, on my favourite spots. I know every piece of land around Sneem and I can recommend one, which suits you best. Photo: Gleesk, Sneem, Autumn 2021
I work closely with SNEEM HOTEL, where I know every corner, best photography spots, the light direction during the day and the real meaning of weather forecast at this place. I have good relationship with owner, managment and the friendly staff. This local knowledge makes the wedding photography much easier.
