PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHER
Where I operate?
I offer school portraits all over Ireland. I primarily shoot school portraits in Co. Kerry, where I live, all around Munster, where we have regular customers, but I am happy to come to the other end of Ireland. Of course, it has to make economic and practical sense.
Who am I?
I am a proud parent of two and photographer, who run a small family business in Ireland since 2018 with previous experience in other EU countries.
I do most of the school photography, if it is not possible to divide larger schools into several days, my wife Kamila joins me.
Behind my studio portraits are hundreds of hours of study, tests and practical experience.
My approach?
I care a lot about the result, I am patient and I don’t leave until I am completely happy with the result. At the same time, I fully respect the running of the school and can turn my “sport mode” on and could be highly effective. My all time record is 208 children photographed in 6 hours with high level of quality.
Take photos in each school according to individual requirements. Every school has a different colour of uniform, some do not have one and I am always ready to advise which setup is best for your school. I am not lazy to come up with something original.
I like to play with the light. Thanks to my rich supply of off camera flashes and various light shapers, I can create a photo according to your wishes. if you have no idea, that’s fine, tell me a little about your school and I’ll know how to photograph your students immediately. It’s no secret that I love the grey background because of its neutral look, but I’m not forcing it on anyone.
What I usually photograph?
Individual child portraits, siblings, class photo, school photo, individual and group photo of teachers.
Pricing?
I would like to bring the joy of quality photograph to every family, even to those who cannot normally afford a family portrait for hundreds of euros. Every school gets individual quotation. My pricing options start as low as €30.

I will get back to you within 24 hours with my availability, we will discuss our ideas, we will plan a visit to your school (if necessary) or schedule the date for your school. How does it work?
I will prepare a letter for parents in pdf, so they will know everything in advance. You will always know what comes next and how much time I need.
On the day of the photo shoot, I will arrive on time (I am always on time), prepare the equipment on approx 3 to 6m space and start shooting according to the pre-agreed plan. It’s a big difference when I have one teacher helping me organise the children. After the photo shoot, we can sit down, have a tea, go through the photos and estimate when the photos will be ready.
I will process the photos and send you a link to our password protected client gallery section, where parents can order their prints. I can offer every type of print what exist.
I never share a photo without parent’s permission. I don’t have consent form as I don’t need them and asking parents individually. The result is as it’s on my website – without: name, age, school, logo on the uniform, metadata.

Tom The Sneem Photographer came to Scoil Mhichíl to take photos of our wonderful pupils. Tom and Kamila are very organised. Informative letters and consent forms were arranged by them for parents. The only task I had as a school secretary was to send out the information by email to our families. On the day of the photoshoot Tom arrived punctually. He was set up in no time and without any interruption to the school day. Tom has a fabulous personality.
